"Connecting perspectives"for us means going beyond bringing points of views together. It means arming others with tools necessary to self-understand. We believe it is this self-awareness that can increase the odds in favor of understanding others and thus stabilise the convergence of perspectives.
Integrity for us equals authenticity. Authenticity creates trust.Respect for us equals acceptance and non-judgement. Communication for us equals 360° connection. 360° connection generates mutual understanding.
The values of integrity, respect and communication form the foundation of the mission of our trainings: to create trust between the trainer and the trainee; to accept the point of view of each candidate ; to create a training atmosphere of mutual understanding.
Our trainings for the EU competitions are for those interested in sitting the high level psychometric tests. However, the competency trainings can be attended by anyone who desire to undertake personal development. The competencies listed here are those sought after by the EU. Contact us to engineer a training program for your company's competence framework, and benefit from the impact that full understanding can bring.
The EU general competence framework plays a fundamental role in the selection process. Acquisition of the EPSO general competencies is a necessary element of the foundation of EU civil servants. Its ultimate role in the EU competition is to measure the candidate's KSA and thus adequately determine her/his professional resources.
Practice, practice and more practice! Yes, I'm repeating myself, however, attending a specialised training is only part of the preparation process. It's important to firmly anchor the theory, tips and recommendations transmitted during our trainings. This is done through regular practice.
The EU prones and promotes a positive attitude as stated in OJ 2006/262/EC 18/12/2006.
AST is EPSO's recognised abbreviated form for the assistant competition categories (secretaries, administrative assistants...). The AST tests focus on administrative and non-decision making skills. No. A mediation is a voluntary action. Mediation becomes a win-win process when both parties support it willingly. However, we can intervene and present the benefits of the process to the other party encouraging her/him to participate. Contact us to find out more.
Each mediation has its own unique personality. Individual meetings are held with each party which can allow the mediator to determine an approximate duration. Two half-day sessions are not unusual.
This is an element that is determined by the mediator during the individual meetings. In the beginning it is sometimes wiser to limit the number of parties to those directly concerned. Every mediation is different.
Yes. Lawyers for both parties are welcomed. The mediator will brief the counsels about their role during the mediation process, if necessary.
